Shilpa Palace

If you’re driving through Malegaon Camp on the Main Road, you’ll see Shilpa Palace. We’re right near the Mosam Pul, which is a big landmark around here. The Nashik District weather can get really hot, so we try to keep the place as cool as we can with a couple of old fans. It’s a busy spot because of the bridge and the main road. People are always passing by on their way somewhere else. Our building has been here for a long time. It’s got high ceilings and the walls are a bit thick. We use the space for a few different things depending on what’s needed. It’s mostly just us keeping the place clean and making sure the doors are open on time. There’s always a bit of dust coming in from the road, so sweeping is a never-ending job. We don’t have a big staff or any corporate rules. We just do things our own way. Sometimes we have a lot of people coming in at once and it gets a bit chaotic, but we manage. The Mosam Pul area is always lively, which makes the days go by fast. It’s not a fancy palace like the name might suggest to some, just a solid building where we do our business. We’ve grown used to the noise of the traffic and the smell of the market nearby. It’s home to us.
