Noorani Unani Medicine

Noorani Unani Medicine is located at Noorani Chowk, right near the Noorani Masjid. This area has a specific feel to it, and we fit right into the neighborhood. We deal mostly in Unani medicines, which are different from the usual stuff you find in most chemists. When you walk in, you might notice the smell of different herbs and natural ingredients. The shop isn't very big, but we have many small drawers and jars filled with various preparations. Being near the Masjid means we hear the call to prayer throughout the day, which gives a nice rhythm to our work. We see a lot of the same faces every week, people who have been using Unani remedies for a long time. We spend a lot of time explaining how to take the different powders or oils, as it’s not always as simple as swallowing a pill. The counter is made of old wood that has been polished by years of people leaning on it. We don't use much technology here, just a simple notebook to keep track of what we sell. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back of the shop, but we know where everything is by heart. It’s a quiet, traditional way of doing things. We take pride in knowing our stock well and being part of the daily life here at Noorani Chowk. It’s a simple business that serves the local community in its own way.
