Kirti Tiles

We have been operating out of units 30 and 31 in the Co-Op Industrial Estate for a long time. It is a busy industrial area, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery nearby. Kirti Tiles is not a retail shop in the middle of a mall. We are in a warehouse setting where we can stack heavy pallets of tiles right up to the ceiling. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for something specific for their renovation projects. The floor is covered in different samples and sizes. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are not used to it. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the shipments that come in and making sure the numbers match the paperwork. It is a family-run business and we do not have a lot of staff. We know the other shop owners in the estate pretty well. Sometimes we have to dig through the back piles to find a specific pattern that someone saw months ago. The lighting inside is not the best, but you can see the colors of the stone and ceramic well enough. We do not have a fancy sales pitch or anything like that. We just show people what we have in the warehouse and tell them the price. It is a straightforward way of doing things, and it keeps our days full from morning until the estate gates close.
