Prathamesh Foundation

Prathamesh Foundation is tucked away in the 2 No. Govt. Colony area of Malda. We share the space with Samir Kr. Dutta, so that’s the name you usually see on the gate. Malda is a busy place, but our little corner in the colony is actually quite alright. It’s not a corporate office by any means. It’s more of a home-style setup where we get our work done. We’ve got a few rooms where we keep our records and meet with people who need to talk to us. The furniture is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We don't really care much for looking polished or professional in that big-city way. We just want to make sure the work gets done correctly. Most of us here have known each other for years, so it’s a very relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s just how things are here. We don't have a lot of staff, just a handful of us who show up every morning. We handle everything ourselves, from cleaning the floors to answering the phone. It’s a simple life in Malda, and we’re happy to be part of this community. People know where to find us if they need anything. We just keep moving forward.
