Our work happens out here in Vill-Baragachhia, which is a small place in the Chanchal area of Malda. It is quite a distance from the big cities, so things move at a different pace for us. We are based out of Md. Rabbani’s place, and it’s basically where everything gets organized. Living and working in a village means you know everyone around you, and news travels fast. It isn't a massive factory or a polished office building with a shiny sign. Instead, it’s just a practical space where we handle our daily tasks. We deal with whatever work comes our way, mostly focusing on things made here in India. The air is a bit cleaner out here than in the city, though the roads can be a bit rough during the monsoon months. We spend a lot of time coordinating with people nearby. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are right and the quality is okay before anything leaves the village. There isn't any fancy lobby or a reception desk with someone waiting to greet you. Usually, one of us is just sitting with a ledger or a mobile phone making calls to suppliers. It can get quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high and everyone takes a little break, but we keep at it. People in Chanchal know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t have a big team, just a few local folks helping out. It’s a simple setup, and that seems to work best for us.
