Banglasathi Welfare Foundation

Our foundation is based at Jahiruddin Sk’s place in Kashim Bazar, Bangitola. We are way out in Malda, and that’s exactly where we want to be. Banglasathi Welfare Foundation is really just a bunch of neighbors who decided to get together and help out the folks around us. Malda is a big place, and sometimes the smaller villages like ours get overlooked. We operate out of a simple building that serves as our main hub. It’s nothing fancy, just a place to keep our stuff and meet up to plan things. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. We spend a lot of our time traveling between the different parts of Bangitola and Kashim Bazar. The roads aren't always great, especially when it rains, so things can take a bit longer than we’d like. We don't mind the extra effort, though. Most of us have lived here our whole lives, so we know the families and the history of the area. We just try to be useful where we can. It’s not a big corporate operation with big budgets. It’s just us using what we have to make things a little bit better for the people we know. It’s simple, local, and we keep it that way. We are just local people working for our neighbors every single day.
