Baidyanath Flour Industries Private Limited is located in Malda, right in the Joy Plaza Shopping Complex on the NH-34 highway. We are at the C/O- Prasanta Kumar Saha spot. Being so close to the highway is very helpful for our business because we have a lot of heavy trucks coming in with grain and leaving with flour. It gets very dusty inside our facility, which is just the nature of the flour business. The machines are quite loud and they run for most of the day while we grind everything down. We don't have a fancy front office or a team of people in suits. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes, making sure the bags are filled to the right weight and tied up properly. Sometimes the power goes out, which happens in this area, and we have to wait for it to come back on before we can finish the day’s work. We aren't trying to be a massive corporation. We just want to provide flour for the local markets and keep our operations running steadily. It’s hard, physical work and you go home every day covered in a fine layer of white dust. That’s just part of the life we’ve chosen here in Malda. We’ve been at this for a while and we’ve learned how to keep the equipment running well. It’s a simple, busy life on the side of the highway. We just show up and do the work.
