We are situated out on National Highway 34, in the Kutubsahar area near Pandua. It’s part of the Gazole police station jurisdiction in Malda District. Being right on the highway means we see a lot of trucks and long-distance travelers passing by every single hour. Sarada Starch Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is where we process starch and deal with various chemical products. It’s a large site because we need the space for all the equipment and the raw materials that come in. The air often has that dusty, industrial smell, which is just part of the job when you work with starch. We have a crew that works in shifts to keep things running. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit; we mostly wear boots and work clothes. The Pandua Gram Panchayat is our local area, and we’ve been a fixture here for some time.
