Saha & Co.

Saha & Co. is located at 420 More, right near the English Bazar police station. It is a busy corner where people are always rushing past. We have been in this spot for quite a few years now. The shop is not very big, just enough room for a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have a fancy air conditioner, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep things moving during the hot months. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, and we have to wipe down the surfaces every couple of hours. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We handle the paperwork and talk to whoever walks in through the door. Usually, it’s local people we’ve known for a long time. We start our day early, around nine, and we don't really close until the sun starts to set. There’s a small tea stall just a few steps away, and we probably drink more tea than we should throughout the day. The building itself is old, with some cracks in the plaster, but it serves us well. We don't bother with fancy signs or bright lights to attract attention. If you are looking for us, you’ll find us by the blue door near the junction. We just do our work, keep our heads down, and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. It’s a simple, local life we have here in English Bazar.
