M/S Tapan Chowdhury & Co.

M/S Tapan Chowdhury & Co. is situated on Ramkrishna Mission Road, which is right in the English Bazar area. It is a busy part of town and the traffic can be quite something during the peak hours. Our office is a simple place where we manage the daily tasks that come our way. Being near the P.S.- English Bazar means there is always some activity nearby. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have been with us for a long time. The street outside is usually full of people and small shops, so it never feels lonely here. We start the day by opening the shutters and letting some air in, though the dust from the road often comes in with it. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements, just the name of the company on the door. People from the neighborhood know us and stop by for a chat or to get their work done. The ceiling fan runs all day to keep the heat away, but it doesn't always help much in the peak of summer. We just handle the paperwork and the people who walk in. It is a very normal, everyday kind of office life. We have been on Ramkrishna Mission Road for a while, and we have seen the area change quite a bit over the years. We just keep doing what we do.
