Md Rajik Clinic

Md Rajik Clinic is a small place located in Birosthli, over in the Malda district. It’s not one of those big city hospitals you see on TV. We’re just a local clinic serving the people around here. Malda is a place with a lot of history, and Birosthli is a quiet enough spot for us to do our work. People come to see us for all the usual health things. Maybe they have a fever, or a cough that won't go away, or a small injury from working in the fields or around the house. We keep things very simple. There’s a desk, some chairs for waiting, and a room for exams. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we do what we can with what we have. Most of the people who walk through our door are neighbors or folks from the nearby villages. We know a lot of them by name. It’s a slow-paced kind of life compared to the big cities, but there is always someone needing help. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person is seen. It’s honest work. We don't put up big advertisements. Word of mouth is how people find out about Md Rajik Clinic. It’s been that way for a while. We just stay here in Birosthli and take care of the folks who come to see us. It's a plain and simple way to run a clinic. It's good to be in a place where people look out for each other here in Malda. We just keep our heads down and do the work every single day we are open.
