Malda Samaj Sathi Micro Service Foundation

We are located at Dhananjay Mandal’s place in the village of Niranjanpur. That is over in the Nazirpur area within the Malda district. It’s a quiet village where everyone pretty much knows each other. The Malda Samaj Sathi Micro Service Foundation isn’t some big institution with a skyscraper. We operate on a very small scale, focusing on micro-services that actually help people in their day-to-day lives. Malda is famous for its mangoes, and during the season, the whole area smells like fruit. Our workspace is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a lot of notebooks. We don’t use computers for everything because sometimes pen and paper are just easier. We spend most of our time out in the fields or visiting houses to see how things are going. It’s a lot of walking, but it keeps us healthy and connected to the land. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy letters. We just speak plainly and try to be honest about what we can achieve. Sometimes we run into problems we can’t fix right away, and we just have to be patient. It’s hard work, and the sun can be really hot in the afternoons, but we stick to it. We are just local folks trying to support our own community in our own small way.
