Maa Annapurna Enterprise

Our place, Maa Annapurna Enterprise, is right by Arabinda Park in English Bazar. It is a good location because the park gives us a bit of green to look at when we step outside for a break. The police station is also nearby, so the area stays pretty orderly. The office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and samples scattered around, but we know where everything is. We have a small staff and most of us have been working together for years. We do not use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand in big ledgers. It feels more reliable that way. During the summer, it gets incredibly hot here in Malda, so we have the fans going at full speed all day. The noise of the blades becomes like background music after a while. We do not have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the customers get what they asked for and that we can pay the bills at the end of the month. It is a simple life and a simple business. We open up in the morning, do our bit, and close the shutters in the evening. That is pretty much all there is to tell about us. We do not think about things too much, we just stay busy.
