Gour Traders

Gour Traders is located right in Baishnabnagar, which is part of the Kaliachak area in Malda. We’ve been here for years, dealing with the daily ins and outs of trading. It’s a lively spot and there is always something going on near the shop. We handle different kinds of goods depending on what the season is and what people are asking for. Our place isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. Sometimes it looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. The humidity here in Malda can be tough, especially in the summer, but we just get on with it. We have a few regulars who come by every week just to see what’s new or to chat for a bit. We don't spend money on big ads because word of mouth works better for us anyway. If you do a decent job, people tell their friends. That’s how we’ve stayed open this long. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the supplies are late or the prices go up, but that’s the nature of trading. We keep our records in big notebooks and try to stay organized. It’s just a regular local business run by regular people. We’re proud to be part of the Baishnabnagar community and plan to stay here for a good long time. There isn't much else to say, we just do our work and go home.
