East End Silks (P) Ltd

Down here in Narayanpur, things move at a certain pace. East End Silks (P) Ltd is located in District Malda, which most people know for different reasons, but for us, it’s just home and work. We are right near the LPG bottling plant, so that’s the landmark most folks use when they are trying to find our gate. Working with silk is what we do every day. It’s a lot of handling the material and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. The air around here always has that specific smell of the area. It is a bit dusty sometimes on the road leading in, especially with the trucks going to the bottling plant next door. We aren’t a huge operation with fancy suits; it’s mostly just people from the local area who know their way around silk. Malda has its own way of doing things, and we fit right into that. We start early when the sun is still coming up and finish when the work is done for the day. It’s honest work and keeps everyone busy. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but we just deal with it. It’s not about being the biggest, it’s just about being here in Narayanpur and keeping the silk moving. There is a lot to do, and we just keep our heads down and finish the tasks.
