Advant Security System

The shop for Advant Security System is located in Bakarpur, right near the M. S. K. School. Being so close to a school means we see a lot of kids and parents passing by every single morning and afternoon. We set things up here in the Kaliachak police station area because there seemed to be a need for people to look after their properties. We spend a lot of our time looking at monitors and messing with cables for cameras. It’s a small operation, mostly just a couple of us who know how to drill holes and run wires through walls without making too much of a mess. People from the village and the post office area come by to ask about sensors or how to see their front door on their phone. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when you are climbing up ladders in the rain or heat. We have our tools organized in the back, though things get a bit disorganized when we have three or four jobs going on at once. We don't use a lot of big words to explain how things work; we just show people where the buttons are. Most of the time, it’s about making sure the recording actually works when it is supposed to. Living and working in Bakarpur has been okay, and we like being the people the neighbors call when they need a bit of extra security for their shops or homes. It is a simple life and we stay busy.
