South East Farms

Out here in Chikkabettahalli, things move at their own pace. South East Farms is tucked away in the Mandya District, specifically in Krishnarajpet Tuluk. It’s mostly just field work and looking after the land. We spend a lot of time outside. The weather dictates most of what we do. Sometimes it rains too much, sometimes it's dry, and we just deal with it. It’s a lot of physical labor, waking up early and staying out late. We aren't a big corporation, just people working on the farm. We have our routines for the crops and the animals. Mandya is a good place for this kind of thing. People around here know each other well. You won't find anything flashy at our spot. It’s just dirt, seeds, and hard work. We’ve been at it for a while. Every season brings something different. We just keep the farm going. Some days are tougher than others, especially when the old equipment breaks down. But that’s life on a farm. We stay busy with the planting and harvesting. Chikkabettahalli is quiet, which suits us just fine. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do the work. If you're looking for us, we're in the Krishnarajpet area. It’s just how it’s always been for us here. We don't think about it too much, we just get out there and do what needs doing.
