Master Tools

Master Tools is located right by the Mylapuram Junction on Tirur Road. It’s a good spot because everyone passes through here eventually on their way to work or home. We sell all kinds of tools that people need for building things or fixing up their houses. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into the space we have. You’ll see hammers, saws, and wrenches hanging on the walls and piled up in the corners. It can be a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals from the surrounding villages or workers headed to a job site nearby. We’ve been at this junction for a long time, so we know most of the people who come in by name. We don't really do any advertising or anything like that; people just know we’re here and stop by when they need a new blade or a bucket of nails. Sometimes we sit out front in the afternoons when things slow down and just watch the traffic go by. The dust from the road gets on everything, so we’re always wiping things down with an old rag. It’s a simple life running a hardware shop. We just try to have what people are looking for so they don't have to drive all the way into the bigger town. It’s honest work and we like being here in this spot.
