Down in AK Nagar, Kooriyad, you’ll find us at the Southul Islam Da`Wa Center. It’s a familiar spot for the people living around Malappuram. The center isn't anything flashy; it’s a plain building where we spend our days. We have students coming in at different times, and the sound of them reciting or talking fills the rooms. It’s a very local atmosphere. You won't find any corporate branding here. Instead, you’ll see some old wooden benches and shelves filled with books that have been used for years. The floor is usually covered with mats, and there’s a small area where we sit and talk about the day’s tasks. Kooriyad is a quiet place, and our corner of it stays pretty peaceful most of the time. We have a routine that we follow, starting early in the morning. The staff here are just members of the community who have been around this center for a long time. We handle everything from keeping the place clean to organizing the daily sessions. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when it’s hot outside, but it’s what we do. We don't make big promises or use fancy words to describe what happens here. It’s just a place in the neighborhood where people come together, and we make sure everything is in order for them every single day. We are just regular people doing our part.
