Vuk Sands and Minerals Private Limited is operated from the Vazhayil Umminikadavath Quilandiyil House. It’s in Mattathur, under the Othukkungal area of Malappuram. It is a bit of a long address but it’s home for us. We deal with sands and minerals which is hard work but someone has to do it. The office is basically part of the house setup. We know most of the neighbors in Mattathur. Malappuram has a lot of construction going on so there’s always something to do. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us taking calls and making sure the sand gets where it needs to go. Sometimes the yard gets messy with all the material, but that’s just how the business is. We’ve been living and working in this spot for years. It’s practical for us. The minerals side of things involves a lot of weighing and checking. We try to be careful with the details. People around here know the Vazhayil name and where the Quilandiyil House is. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do our job and keep the business running smoothly from Othukkungal. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. No corporate nonsense here, just sand and minerals for the local builders. We stay busy with the local trade and keep things moving along.
