Venniyur Pravasi Association

We've been running the Venniyur Pravasi Association from the VPS Building here in Malappuram for a while now. It’s located right on VPS Road in Tirurangadi. A few of us who used to work abroad or have family members far away decided to keep this space going. It isn't a fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. Just a regular room where people from our community come by to talk about things happening back home or overseas. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the desk is cluttered with papers, but it works for what we need. People stop in after errands at the local market or on their way home. We handle a lot of small details for the folks in our area who are traveling or living away. Kerala has so many people working in different countries, so there's always something to discuss. If you are walking down VPS Road, you’ll see our sign at 15/408. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the local area well. Life here in Tirurangadi moves at its own pace. We try to keep things simple and help out where it makes sense. It’s mostly about staying connected to the village while living elsewhere. Nothing more, nothing less. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood, though we might be out for tea sometimes. We just keep the door open and see who comes in.
