We sit here in Mehaque Tower, which is pretty easy to find since it is right near the SBI Bank in BP Angadi. Our room number is TP-18/484. Being in Tirur, specifically the Malappuram side, means it stays busy outside most of the day. The tower has other shops and offices too, so there is always someone coming or going. We focus on the chit fund business, so our desks are usually covered in forms and those little collection books. It is a simple setup with enough space for a couple of visitors to sit down and have a chat while we sort out the payments. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but inside we just keep our heads down and do the work. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the regulars who come in from the nearby villages. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the office where the day-to-day stuff happens. It’s a good spot because the bank is right there, which helps when we have to run errands. We usually close up in the evening after the last person finishes their business. It is a straightforward kind of place. We handle the paperwork, take the entries, and keep the ledgers updated. There is always a pot of water on the table and some old calendars on the wall. It’s just how we run things here in Tirur.
