Shapoorji Pallonji&Co Ltd

Our Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd spot is down in the Malappuram district of Kerala. We are specifically over in the Nedullikkundu Colony area of Manjeri, near the Anakkayam post office. It is a green and quiet part of the world, though the roads can get pretty tight for the big trucks. The office itself is just a regular building where we keep our tools and paperwork. Vinesh is usually around the place making sure everything is running okay. We have a lot of local guys coming in and out, so there is always a bit of a buzz. The weather is either very hot or very rainy, so we are always adjusting to that. We don't have any fancy office furniture, just the stuff that is necessary for the job. Our tea breaks are usually spent at the little shop down the road. It’s a very simple, down-to-earth way of working. We don't bother with corporate talk or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized despite the humidity. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait or work by the window light. It is a very practical setup where everyone knows their role. We’ve been here for a while and feel like part of the local community now. It’s just honest work every day for the crew.
