It is a family house, so the business feels very personal to us. We don't have a big glass showroom or a fancy reception desk. Mostly, it is just rooms filled with fabric and the sound of people talking about orders and deliveries. The area around here is quite peaceful, with a lot of greenery, which makes the work day feel a bit less tiring. We deal with a lot of different vendors and it takes up most of our time just staying on top of the phone calls. My cousins and a few neighbors help with the sorting and the accounts. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to provide decent textiles and make a living. Sometimes the cows from the field next door wander too close to the gate, which is always a bit of a distraction. It is a simple life here in the village, and we are happy with how things are going. We take things slow when we can and work hard when we have to. That’s the way we’ve always done it at the house, and it seems to work out fine.
