If you look for us at 5/1224 5 on Ootty Road, you will see we are right in the Town Juma Masjid building. We sell medical and surgical equipment to people who need it. Ootty Road is always moving, and it stays quite dusty because of all the vehicles passing by. Our shop is not very large, but we keep it packed with everything from bandages to bigger surgical tools. We spend a lot of time helping people find exactly what their doctor wrote down on a slip of paper. It is a practical business. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. Mostly just shelves and more shelves. The masjid is right there, so we hear the calls for prayer throughout the day. It gives the day a bit of a rhythm. We are just a local partnership, not some big international chain. Some days we have to spend hours on the phone trying to track down a specific part for a machine. It can be frustrating, but we eventually get it done. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it swept, though the street outside makes that hard. We don't have any big slogans.
