Puthoor Clinic

Puthoor Clinic is situated right near the bus stand in Ernad. This location is very convenient because everyone knows where the bus stand is. It makes it easy for people traveling from further away to find us without getting lost in the streets of Ernad. The clinic itself is a modest place. We have been operating near the bus stand for a while and we are used to the sound of the buses coming and going all day long. It is a bit of a landmark for some of the locals. Inside, we have a small waiting area and the rooms where we see people. It is not a shiny new building but it is sturdy and serves its purpose well. We see a lot of people who are just passing through Ernad as well as those who live right around the corner. The days can be long especially when there are a lot of people waiting but we just take it one person at a time. We do not have any big corporate backing or anything like that so it is just us doing our best. The walls have a few scuffs and the floor is worn in spots from all the walking but that just shows how many people we have helped over the years. Ernad is a busy place and being near the bus stand keeps us right in the middle of it. We try to keep the door open to let some air in when it is nice outside.
