Our office is in the City Center Shopping Mall on Ootty Road in Manjeri. We are in room 16/666. It is a bit different being in a mall compared to a standalone building, but it is convenient for people who are already out doing their errands. There is always a bit of a hum from the other shops nearby. We get in around nine and start going through the previous day's records. Malappuram can get quite busy, and Manjeri is no exception. We see a lot of different people every day. Some are just checking their balances, others are starting something new. The space we have is functional. We have got the counters set up and some chairs for visitors. It is not a huge place, so when it gets crowded, it gets really loud. I usually spend a lot of time on the computer, typing in data and making sure everything matches the physical receipts. We do not use a lot of fancy words here. We just tell people how things work and help them fill out their forms. Sometimes someone brings in snacks to share during the mid-day slump. It is just a normal workplace. We focus on the numbers and making sure every customer gets what they need without any fuss. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We have got our rhythm down and we just keep at it day after day.
