If you ever find yourself in Perinthalmanna, you might pass by the Pallath Building in Elamkulam. That is where we are, specifically in rooms 498 and 498A through C. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We run an oil mill under the name Pbys Agri Oil Mills. The smell of the seeds and the oil is something you just get used to after a while. It’s hard work and the machines can be quite loud when everything is running at once. We’re located in the Malappuram area, and it gets pretty busy around here during harvest times. Our team is small, mostly just local folks from Elad and Muthukurussi who know how to handle the equipment. We don't spend much time on fancy marketing because the work speaks for itself. There's always something that needs fixing or a floor that needs sweeping. We deal with a lot of different people coming in and out every day. It’s a practical business, nothing more. We just want to keep the mill running and make sure the oil is processed the way it should be. The days can be long, especially when there’s a lot of stock to get through, but we don’t mind it. It’s what we do. We’ve been in this building for a bit now and it feels like home. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back rooms for whenever we take a short break from the machines.
