Oskano Import And Export is located in Pandikkad, over in the Malappuram district. Specifically, we work out of Pattath House in East Vettikattiri. It’s a bit of a local landmark for us. Our work involves bringing things in from other places and sending local goods out. It’s a lot of logistics, which basically means a lot of worrying about where things are at any given time. We aren't a big, cold corporation. It's just us in a regular house turned into an office space. We like it that way because it feels more personal. Most of the people around here know us by name. Malappuram is a great place to live and work, even if the pace is a bit slower than the big cities. We don't have a fancy website or a huge team of marketing people. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out or the phones act up, but we just keep going. Every day is a bit different depending on what shipments are coming or going. We try to be helpful to anyone who comes by with questions. It’s a simple business model, really. We just want to get the products moved from point A to point B without any unnecessary drama. We’ve been part of the East Vettikattiri community for some time now and plan to stay here for many more years to come. It’s home.
