If you find yourself on Neerolpalam Road in Ambalapadi, you’ll see our place at house number 586/B. Orbiqe Fashion Center Llp has been based in Thenhipalam for some time now. We’re right here in Malappuram, and it’s a pretty quiet spot most of the time. We work with clothes and fabrics, mostly. The workshop is always full of scraps of thread and different materials. It’s not the neatest place in the world, but we know where everything is. A few of us spend the day cutting and sewing. Sometimes the machines act up, but we fix them and keep going. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us working at the tables. The light in the morning is quite good through the front windows. People from around the neighborhood stop by sometimes to see what we're working on. We like being in Ambalapadi because it’s not as chaotic as the bigger cities. It gives us space to breathe and focus on the sewing. We’ve been here long enough that the locals know us by name. It’s a decent way to spend the day, honestly. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just make clothes and run the business as best we can from this small building on the road.
