Missiya Fashion

Down here in Payyanangadi, we've got our little shop called Missiya Fashion. It isn't a huge mall or anything, just a place in Malappuram where we keep the racks full of clothes. We spend most of our days folding things and helping neighbors pick out something for a wedding or just for wearing around the house. It gets busy on the weekends, especially when the weather is nice. We started out small, just a few local tailors helping us get things ready. Now we have quite a bit of stock. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what people want to wear these days. Trends change fast, but we try to keep things that actually last and feel good. The shop is usually a bit crowded because we like to keep a lot of variety on the floor. Sometimes the lighting isn't perfect, and we might be running a bit behind on unpacking new boxes, but we get there eventually. We know most of our customers by name since they’ve been coming to us for years. If you’re walking through Payyanangadi, you’ll probably see us. We’re just regular folks trying to make sure the town has decent clothes to choose from. It’s a simple business, really. We open up early, sweep the front, and wait to see who drops by for a chat and a look at the new fabrics before the sun goes down and we head home.
