Our shop is located right by the Mahadevar Temple junction in Pramadom. If you know Mallassery, you've probably passed building XIX/119 B. We work with steel roofing, which is loud work. You can hear the metal clanging from the road sometimes. It's a busy spot, especially with people heading to the temple. We have a small crew here. Dealing with heavy sheets of steel all day keeps you tired. We started this because there was a need for it in the area. Most of the time, we're just organizing stock or helping someone figure out how many sheets they need. The office is small and usually has some dust from the yard. It isn't a place for suits. We wear boots and work clothes. The sun hits the metal and makes it hot in the afternoons. We've been at this junction for a while now. It feels like home. People drop by to ask questions or just to see what we have in stock. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We just try to keep enough material on hand so no one is waiting too long. It’s hard work but it’s what we do. The sound of the cutters and the trucks is just part of our daily rhythm now. We focus on the metal and making sure the orders are ready for the morning haulers. It’s a plain business without any bells or whistles.
