Door No.10/614B in Thirurkad is where we spend most of our time. It’s a simple spot, nestled near Daffodilsoradampalam. You wouldn’t really notice Mckinley Miller Global Llp from the street if you weren’t looking for it. We have a few desks and some old chairs that aren't very comfortable. The office isn’t much to look at, but it’s where the work gets done every day. Most mornings, we just come in and start on the pile of paperwork left over from the day before. It’s quiet enough around here, except when the school buses go by or the local shops open up. We handle a variety of things for folks who need help with global business matters. There’s always a fan running because it gets quite warm in the afternoons. We aren't some big fancy corporation with a lobby and a coffee machine. We just have a small kettle in the corner for our tea. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window, so we have to move the files to keep them dry. We’ve been here in this part of Thirurkad for a while now. People know us by name, which is nice for a small business. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of our tasks. It’s not about being the biggest, just about finishing what we started. We usually leave once the sun goes down and the streetlights come on. It’s a decent life here.
