Madina Hardware

You can find Madina Hardware at Nalakath House in Valluvamdram. We are very close to the A.M.U.P School, so during the mornings and afternoons, you can hear the kids playing or the school bell ringing. It’s a nice little spot that feels very much like part of the local neighborhood. The shop itself is tucked away and doesn’t have the big glass windows you see in the city. It’s more of a traditional store where we keep all the hardware items on high shelves. We have everything from simple tools to plumbing supplies. The building, Nalakath House, has a lot of character and has been around for a long time. We mostly see people from the village who are fixing things at home or need something for their farm. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, just chatting with the neighbors and helping them find the right screw or pipe fitting. We don’t really do any big marketing. People just know we are here because we’ve always been here. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it’s slow and watch the cars go by on the way to the post office. It’s a simple business without any of the corporate polish you find elsewhere. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by with a problem to solve. The school kids sometimes walk past and wave while we are sorting out the new stock that arrived.
