Light Opticals & Eye Clinic

Light Opticals & Eye Clinic is located in the Noor Complex in Malappuram. It’s a small shop and clinic where we spend our days looking at eyes and fitting frames. The complex is usually quite busy, so there’s a lot of coming and going outside our door. Inside, we have a display with different types of glasses and a small room in the back where we do the actual eye testing. It isn't a huge place, but we have enough room to do what we need. We get a lot of people from around Malappuram who just want to see if their prescription has changed or if they need some new sunglasses. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If you need glasses, we show you what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for specific lenses to come in, and we just give people a call when they are ready. The staff here is just a couple of us who know how to work the machines and keep the records in order. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. It’s a bit of a local hangout sometimes, as people stop in just to chat while they are doing their shopping in the Noor Complex. We just try to be helpful and keep the glasses straight on the display racks.
