Lamode International

We are located at Plot No. 14/75 in the Kottakkal Post area, right near K. R. S. and the Union Bank. Lamode International is a name we’ve used for a while, but we are just a small team working out of this plot every day. The area is fairly quiet compared to the big cities, which is something we really like about being here. Being near the bank is handy because everyone knows where it is and it helps with directions. We spend a lot of our time dealing with parcels and shipping labels. There’s always some tape stuck to someone’s sleeve or a pile of bubble wrap in the corner of the office. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything for guests. You just walk in and see us working at our old desks or in the storage area in the back. The weather here can get quite humid, so we have a few big ceiling fans going all the time to keep the air moving. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait it out, talking about random things or checking our phones. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere even when we have a lot of orders to finish. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just source things and send them where they need to go. My brother helps with the logistics and I handle the phone calls and emails. We know the local postman and the tea guy.
