Our restaurant is located in Pottathapadi, Tirur. If you are driving near the Bharath Petroleum station, you will see us at Door No 31/358-6. We call it Khaleez. It’s just a local place to eat. We didn’t start it to get famous. We just wanted a spot where people could get a decent meal. The kitchen is the heart of the place and it is always noisy with the sound of frying and shouting orders. We use local recipes because that is what we know. Most of our staff are from the local Malappuram area. We don't have a fancy menu with photos. It's just a simple list of what we cooked for the day. Lunchtime is usually a bit chaotic. People come in from the nearby offices and shops. We try to get everyone served quickly, but sometimes there is a wait. Nobody seems to mind too much. We don't have a marketing department or a big social media presence. We just rely on the fact that people know where we are. We've had the same regulars for a long time now. We see them every day and know exactly what they are going to order before they even sit down. It is a nice way to live, being part of the daily routine for so many people in Tirur.
