K.C. Coconut Products

We are located in Kaippur, right by the local post office. K.C. Coconut Products is a local operation that focuses on exactly what the name suggests. Everything we do here revolves around the coconuts we get from the surrounding area. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We spend our days processing the raw fruit, husking, and getting things ready for whatever the next step is. It is not a quiet office job. The air always smells like fresh coconut, which is nice, but it can be hard work when the weather is humid. We have a small crew of folks who live nearby. We don’t have a big management structure or anything like that. We just show up in the morning and see what needs to be done. The facility is basically a large shed with some storage space. It’s a bit rustic, but it works for what we need. Since we are in a rural area like Kaippur P.O., things move a bit slower than in the city. We don’t mind that. People around here know us, and if they need coconut products, they just come by the gate. We try to use as much of the coconut as possible so nothing goes to waste. It’s a simple way of living and working. We don't have a website or a fancy sign, just the work we do. There are always heaps of shells and husks in the yard.
