Kalakarunya Human Development Foundation

Kalakarunya Human Development Foundation is over in Malappuram, specifically at the Chundakkadan Complex in Kondoti. Our address is 368/10. It’s a busy part of Tirurangadi, and the complex itself has quite a few different shops and offices. It can get pretty hot in this part of Kerala, so we usually have the fans running full blast all day long just to stay comfortable. The building is a bit older, with that standard concrete feel you find in most commercial blocks around here. We’re just one of many small offices in the area. Finding a place to park can be a bit of a struggle on market days, but we’ve learned the best spots to tuck a bike or a car nearby. Inside, our office is pretty basic. We have a few desks pushed together and some chairs that have been around for a while now. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s more about having a roof over our heads and a place to organize our projects. The hallways of the complex are always humming with people moving around. We get a lot of the local sounds from the street filtering in through the windows. We just focus on our daily routine, checking our lists and making sure the files are up to date. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of environment where everyone is just trying to get their work done.
