John Deere Tractors

You can find us in Valanchery. The shop is usually pretty loud because there is almost always an engine running or someone is banging on a piece of metal with a hammer. We have a lot of green paint around here, which is no surprise. The yard out front is usually full of tractors waiting for repairs or someone to come pick them up. It gets pretty muddy when it rains, so we all wear heavy boots that we leave by the door. We spend our days covered in a bit of grease and oil. Farmers from all around come by, not just to look at the machines, but often just to talk for a bit. We have a small bench near the entrance where people sit and chat while we look under the hoods of their equipment. We do not have a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It is a workshop, plain and simple. We have racks of parts and heavy tools scattered around. Sometimes we struggle to find a specific wrench, but we always get the job done eventually. It is a good feeling when a big machine starts up after we have been working on it all morning. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes through the gate. It is a bit messy and loud, but that is how a tractor shop in a place like Valanchery is supposed to be.
