Our place is at Building No 38/127 in the Kondotty Municipality area, not too far from Tirurangadi. Being in Malappuram means we deal with a lot of local weather and a lot of local talk. The office is pretty simple and we spend a good chunk of our day just coordinating with the workers and making sure the materials arrive on time. Sometimes the trucks get stuck or the wood isn't the right shade, and we have to spend hours sorting it out. It’s a practical kind of life here. We walk over to the local market for lunch or a quick tea when things get too busy. Kondotty is a lively place to be, and there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve got some samples of fittings and laminates on the shelves, mostly covered in a thin layer of dust because we are always moving things around. The daily grind is never the same; one day we are measuring a kitchen and the next we are arguing about a plumbing issue. It is not a shiny corporate life, just a small business trying to keep its head above water and do a decent job for the people around here. We know the neighbors and they know us, which makes the whole thing feel a bit more like home than just a job. We don’t have any big slogans, we just pick up the tools and get to work every morning.
