We run our interior business out of Palliyalil House in Mudhur. The address is Ii/398 for anyone trying to find us in Kottiri. It’s a local operation here in Malappuram. We deal with interiors, which basically means we spend our time thinking about cabinets, flooring, and where to put the lights. It sounds fancy but it’s mostly just a lot of measuring and cutting. We started Ideal Lifestyle because we noticed people around here wanted better stuff for their homes but didn't want to go all the way to the big cities for it. We aren't a huge company. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a toolkit. Our workshop can get pretty messy with sawdust and scraps of laminate everywhere. That’s just part of the job. We don’t have a showroom with bright lights and music. We usually just take samples to people’s houses so they can see them in their own rooms. It makes more sense that way. Working in Malappuram is good because you get to know the families you’re working for. You hear about their kids and their lives while you’re fixing up their kitchen. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about how long things take. It’s a slow process sometimes, especially when we’re waiting on specific parts to arrive. But we get there in the end.
