G-Land Bakes Private Limited

G-Land Bakes Private Limited is tucked into the Royal Tower at 5th Mile, right by Edathara Post. It’s a busy little spot, especially since we are in a building with other businesses too. We spend most of our time around ovens and flour. Being in Edathara means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Our space in the tower isn't huge, but we make it work for all the baking we do. There is always a layer of flour on the floor by the end of the shift, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s mostly just stainless steel tables and heavy bags of sugar. The smell of bread usually fills the hallway, so people know we are there before they even see the sign. We started this because we liked working with our hands. It's tiring work, standing on your feet all day, but it feels good when the timers go off and everything looks right. We don't really do big advertising campaigns. Word just gets around locally. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in traffic near the 5th mile, but we manage to get things moved eventually. It’s just a regular local bakery business trying to keep the ovens hot. We often stay late on Fridays to get the weekend orders ready. It's just the way it works for us.
