Ernad Agro Foods

We are based out of Thiruvali, specifically at 379 A in Kulakkatiri. It is a beautiful part of the country, much quieter than the big cities. Our business is all about agro foods. We deal with the stuff that comes from the local farms and get it ready for people to buy. It is not a fast-paced environment here. Things move according to the seasons and when the crops are ready. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and checking the quality of what they bring in. Sometimes the rains make things difficult, but we manage. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a place for processing and storage. We don't have a big marketing budget or flashy brochures. We just rely on the fact that the food we handle is good and people want it. Most of us here grew up around these fields, so we know the land pretty well. We do not use a lot of complicated machines, just the ones we really need to keep things clean and packaged right. It is a small operation, and we like it that way. We know our suppliers by name, and they know us. There is a lot of manual work involved, from lifting sacks to sorting through produce. It is tiring sometimes, but it feels good to be working with food that grows right here in our area. We keep things simple.
