Our business, Edify Resorts Private Limited, is run from Puzhakkalakath House in Pothanur. It’s located in Malappuram, and we’ve been using this family house as our main base for a while now. It’s not a commercial building in the middle of a city; it’s a place where we live and work. We focus on resort management and making sure everything is ready for people who want a break from their busy lives. Malappuram has its own rhythm, and we try to follow that. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. Usually, you’ll find us sitting around a wooden table going over the schedules for the week. The Polpakkara P.O. area is quite traditional, and we like that. We spend quite a bit of time checking on our staff and making sure the grounds are kept neat. It isn’t always glamorous; there’s a lot of cleaning and fixing that goes into running a resort. We try to keep things simple and honest. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around, just a reliable one. When things get busy, everyone chips in, whether it’s answering the phone or helping with the gardening. It’s a family-style business at its heart. We’ve grown up in this area, so we know what works and what doesn’t. We just take it one day at a time and do our best to keep everything organized.
