DHANAKSHEMA NIDHI LIMITED

Our office is over at Nilambur in the T P Building. Specifically, we are at Janathapadi, door number 24/130G. Malappuram is a great place to be, and this little corner of Nilambur is where we do all our business. We aren't a massive bank with thousands of employees. It’s just a handful of us managing the Dhanakshema Nidhi operations. We spend our mornings checking the accounts and our afternoons meeting with folks from the neighborhood. Most of our work is helping people save a little every month or helping them get a gold loan when they need some quick cash for personal reasons. We don't use any of those complicated financial terms that no one understands. We just talk plain English or the local language. The office is pretty basic, but it serves its purpose. We have a few files piled up on the side desks and a calendar on the wall that we forget to flip sometimes. It's a real place with real people. We don't have a PR department making us look perfect. We just try to be helpful and keep the records straight so there aren't any mistakes. If you walk into Janathapadi, anyone can point you toward the T P Building. We've been part of the landscape here for a while and we plan on staying. It’s just steady work for the community. We get in early, do the work, and go home to our families.
