Chethana Pharma

Our pharmacy is located on Ambalakat Road in Perintalmanna. It’s a busy street, so we get a lot of people stopping by throughout the day. The building is an older one, and the shop itself has been here for quite some time. We spend most of our hours behind the glass counter, talking to customers and finding the medicines they need. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we often have to use a ladder to reach things at the top. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a large shipment in and have to find room for all the new boxes. We don't have a fancy computer system; it’s mostly just us keeping track of things as we go. The staff are all from around here, so we often end up chatting about local news while we work. The fan on the ceiling hums all day, and it helps keep the place cool when the sun is hitting the front of the shop. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the counter gets cluttered with notes and prescriptions. It’s a straightforward business without any corporate polish. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day’s work. It’s a regular part of the neighborhood here in Perintalmanna and we just do our best to stay on top of things. The ceiling fan wobbles a little but it has been like that for years.
