Cherukavu Nidhi Limited

We are based out of Cherukavu in Malappuram, specifically over in Ayikkarapadi. The building number is 144 C, and we have a few door numbers from 2011 to 2016. It's a decent-sized space but we don't use it all for show. Most of the time, it's just us sitting at the desks handling the paperwork for the local community. Being a nidhi company means we mostly deal with our members who live right here. We see the same faces every week coming in to check on their small savings or to talk about a gold loan. It’s a very local thing. We don't have any branches in big cities or flashy signs. Most people find us because they live nearby or their neighbor told them about us. The office can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans going. We focus on the basic stuff like keeping the records right and making sure everyone gets their interest on time. It’s practical work. No one here wears a suit unless there’s a big meeting. Usually, it’s just shirts and trousers. If you’re passing through Cherukavu, you’ll find us near the post office. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, just doing what we do. It’s not a complicated business model, just people pooling their resources to help each other out when someone needs a bit of cash for a wedding or home repairs. It works for us.
