Our place is in the Thomankkadan Building, Door Number 7/283 - M. It’s a sturdy old building that has been around for quite a while. We occupy a small section of it. You can see the wear and tear on the walls, but it’s got character. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or bright lights. It’s mostly just wooden desks and shelves that we’ve put up ourselves over the years. The light comes in through the big windows in the front, which is nice in the morning. We have a small crew here, maybe just five or six of us on a busy day. We spend a lot of time just moving things around to make space for new arrivals. The building has other businesses in it too, so there’s a lot of coming and going in the hallways. We know the guys in the shop next door and the person who runs the small stall downstairs. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website that looks like it cost a fortune, and we don't have people in suits walking around. We just wear our regular clothes and do the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when the monsoon is heavy, and we have to move the boxes. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you’ve been in one place for a long time.
