You can find us at Building No. 1/116 in Pulliyil, Nilambur. We actually take up several units there, from J all the way through S, because we need the space for all the yarn we handle. Malappuram has a lot of trees and green space, and our bit of Nilambur is no different. It is a quiet enough area but we stay busy inside. We deal with yarn and try to come up with new ways to use it, though most of the time it is just hard work and moving boxes. The building is long and we are always walking back and forth between the different sections. It is not a very modern place, just some sturdy walls and a roof that keeps the rain off the stock. We have a few people from the local area who help us out. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the trucks get stuck, but we usually figure it out eventually. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the yarn and making sure it is what people asked for. Most of our days are spent checking colors or counting bundles. It’s practical work, and it can be tiring, but it feels right. We have been here in Kerala for a while and we know the rhythms of the seasons and how they affect the materials. It is just a regular business run by regular people who care about getting the job done properly without making a big fuss about it.
